Lock it in, Eddie.
So I’ve left Bristol. I’m sitting in a Starbucks in Barnes, London. I know, I know, I’m a bad person because I’m supporting a chain and not an independent cafĂ©, but it’s the only reliable free internet source in the immediate area! Also, I bought my coffee from elsewhere, and compromised with a smoothie here. As if that makes a difference.
Everything is falling into place now. Two of my cousins have given birth to beautiful little boys - now I have two new sort-of nephews (second cousins, really, but Auntie Katie is better than Second Cousin Katie, right?), I have an apartment on Hobson Street in the city centre with one of my closest friends, (Lizy), I’m enrolled in uni, and my timetable is sorted… I fly out in a couple of days… all I need now is a job! I’m coming home. Oh yes I am.
