These, however, are a little more unconventional, and therefore AWESOME… the genders of the previous symbols are reversed - for example, the person holding a child is now male - with the unavoidable exception of the pregnant woman. Not only does Vienna have a fantastic public transport system, it also has non-stereotypical signage. That’s cool.

  1. andimpressions said: i remember when they introduced these, there were also discussions on whether they should put up some pedestrian lights with women instead of men, but for some reason they didn’t.
